About KU Leuven

KU Leuven is dedicated to education and research in nearly all fields. Its fifteen faculties offer classes and degree-granting academic programmes, whilst research activities are organized by departments and research groups. These faculties and departments are clustered into three thematic groups: Humanities and Social Sciences; Science, Engineering and Technology (SET); and Biomedical Sciences. The Life Cycle Engineering research group of the KU Leuven department of Mechanical Engineering participates in the INCREACE project. KU Leuven is leading WP1 of the INCREACE project which targets to enable data-driven optimization of the sorting processes and a higher traceability during the pre-processing of plastic recyclates.
