About ETH Zurich

The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, short ETH Zurich, is a public research university located in the city of Zurich. Since its establishment by the Swiss Federal Government in 1855 ETH Zurich has built a world-class reputation in research and industry. The ETH consists of 16 departments of different academic fields and multiple interdisciplinary and competence centers to foster cross-disciplinary cooperation.

The Group for Sustainability and Technology (SusTec) was established in fall 2004 and is a part of ETH Zurich’s Department of Management, Technology, and Economics (D-MTEC). The group investigates organizational, technological, and institutional change in the energy, construction and plastic sectors on two complementary levels: The system level and the firm level.
