Throwback to recent events introducing & testing our RAT-tool

We are excited to share the success of our recent events introducing & testing the beta version of the INCREACE Recyclability Assessment Tool (RAT).

On March 26th, the great brains behind the tool Sharina Ligtelijn,  Michiel Henning, Thijs Feenstra, Mark-Olof Dirksen successfully introduced to the INCREACE RAT during a 1h Webinar. We are thankful and excited about the positive response from >100 participants which demonstrated the growing interest in circular product design.

The following day, we welcomed 15 experts with diverse backgrounds to Philips premises in Eindhoven for an in-depth workshop to test the RAT with their own Bill of Material. Their invaluable feedback will help refine this game-changing tool for product developers, designers, and engineers.

A highlight was our afternoon tour of MIREC B.V.’s recycling facility, where we witnessed firsthand the journey of electronic products through the recycling process. A special thanks to Rebecca Baaijens, Alfred Jager & Jan Visser for providing these valuable insights and answering all our questions.

This experience reinforced the importance of our work in improving product recyclability.
